XENOPULSE
A downloadable game for Windows
XENOPULSE is an isometric Sokoban-inspired alien exploration puzzle game made entirely in the span of a single week for PIGSquad's July 2019 Summer Slow Jam.
At the moment it is for PC only but we are working on a Mac port!
In this game, you play as one of a team of researchers living in orbit of an alien world. You control a robot tasked with traversing the planet's surface, as well as installing and collecting data from a number of research probes. XENOPULSE was inspired by the 1981 game Sokoban ("warehouse keeper" in Japanese) by Hiroyuki Imabayashi, in which you push around boxes in a warehouse and try to get every box into its proper place. As such, this game involves a lot of pushing, but the variety comes from all of the different elements of this alien world that you interact with (and which interact with each other).
Also, there is a lot of time travel.
We hope you enjoy!
